Sounds obvious but do you actually give yourself enough time in bed to allow for enough time to sleep?
If you need to get up at 7am and you know that you need 8 hours of sleep to function optimally you need to be in bed well before 11pm.
Give yourself enough time to deeply relax in bed before you need to fall asleep. That might mean doing some meditation, reading a nourishing book, listening to some relaxing music.
Greater sleep 'opportunity' means more sleep, means better brain function and in the long run means a longer and healthier life. I'm serious. It's time to take sleep seriously. 😴
